The Shadow Walkers: The Woodland and Wargs part I

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Tired from riding all the night and day long, the travellers decided to have a rest. "Let us get a rest. I'll take the watch." - Katrandil said towards them, being tired as well but the two (in her opinion) deserved to rest more than she did. They looked at her, speaking almost at the same moment. "Don't mind if we do, no maam" - The hobbit started. Katrandil sat down on the log by the fire, watching her surroundings.

After preparing the food and finishing up the meal Katrandil felt that she is ready to head to the other camp. She stood up and looked back at her companions wondering if they are ready as well. She packed the prepared meat pieces to her bag for later then walked in the stairs direction. She turned to them once again. "I am ready to go when you are." - She said then walked down the stairs.

The woman packed her belongings and whistled for her horse. She smiled while she was thinking about another journey that just began. She glanced towards the camp for the last time then began to ride off slowly. It was another of her lone journeys that she got accustomed to. She knew that she can only count on herself all the time.

The Forngarmo was spending the night in the forests of Bree-Land like usual, but suddenly she felt the teeth on her right leg then heard howling nearby. She woke up reaching for her sword but then Valor, her wolf came closer to her, revealing that it wasn't a threat and it was just him. She looked at him and sighed with relief, laughing at her own temper. She then sat down, wondering why he came to her in the middle of the night as he was never doing that and what's more important - Why he woke her like this.

Dyghus, the Great Strength, Chapter IV: One Step Forward

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

With a curved bow in his hand, he marched through the barren wasteland underneath the mask of darkness the land has given him. Soon, he shifted from being out in the open towards the cover of trees and rocks to hide him from sight. He waited, and his instincts were correct for soon, he had heard voices. Voices he recognized – one was croaky and crisp with age and weariness, whilst the other was simply aggressive and showing strength through even his voice.

A Time in Lórien IV

Story

Second Age; 1716, a week after the encounter…

Undómion had a sense of paranoia about leaving his Talan, and remained on the platform within the Mallorn. He felt humiliated. How could he be bested by this one maid?

“You have the looks of a love-struck elf.”

‘No, I do not! So much happened too fast…the forest is enchanted!’ “Perhaps.”

The forest was special in its own way…even the inhabitants. Still, he should have at least kept composure when saying his name.

Leothross opened his eyes with a start. He must have fallen asleep. He had not meant to. He sat just where he had the night before, perched near the edge of the cliff that their camp was atop. It was still dark, he had not slept for long. He rose quietly, and fetched one of his books from his pack. As he returned he glanced at the others, hoping that they were getting more sleep than he.

Further into the Darkness

Story

There was no freshness in this morning. The air did not carry the sweetness of growing things, awakening again to the sun. No, it was just barren; barren and dry. A foul layer of dust covered the ground, the buildings, and everything, almost overnight, it seemed. But this was not even the light, and gentle dust the clouded courtyard in front of the Pony in Bree. It was not even that rich brown dust that could be found outside the Old Forest. This was black, and choking, and filled the air with an evil smell.
