Chronicle Content
Early in the Second Age, nine years after the sack of Eregion, Undómion made the choice to reside in the Golden Wood. For what reason is unknown; its history, its beauty, or perhaps an "enchantment".
Glad at last for the peace, Undómion was able to retreat back into his old profession from his youth. Of course, he did contribute to enhancing Lothlórien as well. During these long years he became familiar, perhaps attached, to a particular Silvan-maiden. Their bond would grow, to blossom into love, and eventual marriage.
The beginning of the Third Age had nothing of great joy. After the pain of losing Aridhor, Undómion's brother, and his eyesight, there were challenges to face with the eternal darkness.
