The Shadow Walkers: On the way to Annundir

After preparing the food and finishing up the meal Katrandil felt that she is ready to head to the other camp. She stood up and looked back at her companions wondering if they are ready as well. She packed the prepared meat pieces to her bag for later then walked in the stairs direction. She turned to them once again. "I am ready to go when you are." - She said then walked down the stairs.
The two stood up and Ornessar looked around."Some more steps to the north and I will be inside this horrid land, where the battle of Fornost took place and Norveleth perished..." - He said looking in the Fields' of Fornost direction. Katrandil knew that it is one of her destinations.
She nodded to herself then lowered her tone a bit, speaking more to herself than to her companions. "Fornost.." - She looked at the way ahead - "It is the one of my goals here. I need to do some research in those ruins." - She finished her sentence, thinking about Halbarad's instructions and maybe about something more. The ruins of Fornost have a meaning for her, even if she weren't born back then to remember The Northern Kingdoms. That meant nothing. She wanted to know something more about her kinsmen that lived back then. Ornessar wandered closer to her. "I am ready as well. It is a dangerous land." - He said after a while looking from Katrandil to Suoma. The Forngarmo turned around and looked at him, nodding in agreement. "Indeed." - She answered then remained silent for a while. She was thinking about their safety as she knew that she can't stand no more death on her hands. "I can go there alone after we leave the next camp if you wish to. Then we can meet at the Evendim Gate." - She finally spoke.
Ornessar took a step towards her, looking at her with serious expression. "I will stand beside you." - He said then both of them remained silent. He didn't wanted her to go alone. He wouldn't allow anyone to harm her, same as she wouldn't allow to harm him. That was the power of the true friendship, where the race and the differences mean nothing. But then Suoma has broken the silence. "You.. you wouldn't leave me alone here would you miss queen and mister elf?" - She said towards the tall companions, the hobbit was frightened of being left alone in the unknown, dangerous lands.
The Forngarmo shook her head looking at the hobbit. Leaving innocent people alone? Nonsense. She leaned down a bit to look at Suoma properly. "No.. I am just trying to keep you safe, friend." - She said with a calm tone while still looking at Suoma. The Hobbit sighed in relief and moved closer to the woman. Katrandil looked at her for a moment then stood up. "Let us go..." - She said with her normal tone again.
Suoma stood up, frightened again and looked at the hooded woman. "But, but it's night!" - She shouted."Are you sure?" - The hobbit asked after a quick moment as Katrandil moved down the ruins. "I am..." Galad confirmed then looked around the fields, whistling. "Very well then.." - Suoma replied, nodding eagerly. The Ranger's horse showed up and then she mounted up, so did her companions. And finally they rode towards the woodland camp in the Annundir.
The journey was calm, as nothing notable was happening. No orcs, no dangers as the Three rode through the night.
Galad was leading them through the safe paths of North Downs, if any of them can be called safe. She stayed silent during the ride, allowing the others behind to talk about their own matters.
"Road is long and the adventure awaits then!" - They reached the camp as the time passed, while the hobbit lady was singing. Katrandil smiled from under her mask then let her horse run free. "This will be our last stop. We will leave for Fornost in the morning." - She said then moved towards the fire, and so did the others.
