Story

A man clad in grey offered aid to the mead company, he wore a hood and very rarely removed it. He was of a mysterious kind and he had born a star upon his breast. Folk around Bree knew these men as 'Rangers'. However this 'Ranger' had given the company no true name and they began to know him as 'Archer'.

It is a sad thought that the footprints you have once left upon the ground shall one day be covered by new earth whilst yours fades. From thence forth the paths and tracks that you have left is only but a memory within the minds of those who hearken to the tales of the tale-spinners, alas. However it is not entirely something bad, for new room has been laid down for new footprints and there new stories shall be wrought and spread forth like wildfire as the previous have.

Story

When dawn had come the men and woman of The Mead Company had risen and began their search for the Beorning Mead which they had come to the Misty Mountains in search of. Through cold snow the marched and whilst the morning was still young they had found some wooden wreckage held up in the snow near a frozen lake. They began to dig with their bare hands but they found naught but a corpse. It was then when they had decided to call a vote, to go on in search of their mead or turn back.
