Brigands

Diary 2 - Time to escape

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

This scrap of paper I managed to get hold of is hardly worth it. Even so, I think I should record my thoughts in case things go ill.

My capture at the hands of the brigands was not part of my plan. Although I managed to hurt a great many, they overwhelmed me with numbers. Now I have been here a couple of days and I have had enough. It is time to go.

A close encounter with brigands.

Duarion crept forwards, examining the high ruins about him. He was glad for the darkness of the night. There were a few stars, but the moon was out of sight, leaving him almost invisible from his hiding place.

Pulling his grey cloak a little tighter, Duarion scurried across to a patch of deeper shade by the ancient wall ahead. Once, this had been part of the great North-South road connecting Arnor and Gondor. Now, the vale of Andrath was a den of thieves and brigands.

The long road home II: Brigands and bows

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

My journey has started, with a quite unexpected first few days.

A peculiar find.

Story

The Bounders were all stood around the corpses of three men. They had been discovered at dawn by a farmer out on the road between Budgeford and Scary.  All three lay neatly side-by-side and it was not until the farmer had looked closer that he discovered they were in fact dead and not merely sleeping peacefully, each one had been felled by a blow to the head. At their feet lay numerous objects that appeared to be of Hobbit make and would in fact turn out to be the same objects reported missing from Budgeford and Stock some days earlier.

Savela Hawthorn - Diary - 'What's going on?...'

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

I've really lost it, a few days ago four brigands broke into my quarters, only to jump out of the window again after father appeared... one of them quickly stabbed me in the side and threw me aside before jumping after his friends. He also made a very light cut to my throat right before that, for no reason at all... he seemed to enjoy it actually.

Ceou's "Empty" Journal, "The Hunt of the Green Elf"

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary
Tarvorond, an elf that wears a green watchers hauberk and a raven mask to match, has been watching me. Following me. I keep sensing his presence, and running into him. Today, he has revealed to me that he is the one that tipped off Alolira as to my position in the Brigands of Bree, though, he mistook me for the leader. That, I am not. Close, but not quite. He told me that that information was leaked from within, but I know that isn't true. I have never claimed to be the head of the snake.

Strangers in Stock

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Things are getting mighty peculiar in The Shire - and not in a good way.

My latest job took me through Stock where I witnessed a Southern Brigand friom Bree-land harassing a Hobbit homeowner and his missus. He refered to us as "little vermin" and said that he was going to take their house from them. This chap seems to be around every night that I've happened to be down that way. I fired off a few arrows at him, but he wouldn't budge and carried on with hsi threats.
