Sefa's Story

Sefa was born to a fairly middle class merchant man and his wife in a little farming village just outside of Dale.

 

At the age of four her brother Denith was born.

 

At the age of seven she met one of the greatest friends of her life - Joran.

At the age of ten Sefa developed a fear of rats.

At the age of twelve Sefa went on a "holiday" to Lake Town with her uncle on her father's side which affected her deeply and changed her perspective on many areas of her life. At this age her parents also bought a horse which in effect became Sefa's due to their neglect. She also had her first ale at this age.

At the age of fourteen Sefa got drunk for the first time and got drunk on several occassions during this year and the next. She had her first kiss at this age. 

 

At sixteen Sefa fell in with a rather rough drinking crowd. She started drinking on a regular basis getting drunk at least once a week usually and often more because that was what the group was doing. Her parents were neglecting her considerably by this point in her life, favouring her brother over her. It was at this age that her Granny M died leaving her a hat which she treasured greatly as she held great affection for her Granny M. It was also at this age that her friend Joran joined the Dale watch.

 

At the age of seventeen Sefa's horse died which once again left her rather upset and drove her to drink even more. 

 

At eighteen she commited her first crime which was stealing from a keg from a Dale tavern. She was arrested but let off the hook by Joran who by this point was a respectable enough member of the watch.

 

At the age of nineteen she got her first job due to her parents refusing to pay for her food any more. She worked at a local tavern in the village as a barmaid. It was also at this age that she started to get her reputation for drunken flings.

 

At twenty she was fired from her job. Her parents tried to kick her out of their home although changed their minds after she injured her leg and had to spend three months confined to her bed. Her brother also burnt her hat of Granny M's at this age and so she bought herself a new one (her current rather famous one) and burnt Denith's clothes in punishment.

When she was twenty three she had her first long term relationship. This lasted for a month and resulted in her handcuffing her knocked out boyfriend naked in the middle of Dale after he abused her so much. She then had a two week relationship with Joran as some form of protection after her actions although she was unaware of the effect that this would have upon her friend.

 

At the age of twenty five Joran told her that he loved her and proposed to her, she rejected his proposal and left Dale, unable to cope with having mistreated her friend so much and with her family any more. She travelled to Bree in the company of a merchant and spent the majority of the journey either laying on a cart or drunk out her mind. She settled herself into Bree, quickly establishing herself her tree and settling herself into a routine within the Bree walls, getting to know the locals and making friends.

 

At twenty six Sefa became a true member of the Bree community.

At the age of 27, she is settled into Bree and is starting to grow up a little.
