In the quiet majesty of Duillond, where the sea's whisper meets the melody of the trees, Maegirth, sentinel of the ancient days, extends an invitation to all kindred souls to gather under the canopy of stars. Come, let us recall the deep sorrow of Míriel, whose weariness wove the threads of a tragic tale, and honor the might of Tulkas, the valiant one whose strength brought hope amidst despair.

“Songs of Amanar, songs for the returning sun”

Lindamar presents a music performance at the eve of winter solstice with songs and poems in anticipation of the returning sun, the Amanar, as the light returns again.

“Therefore Yavanna set times for the flowering and the ripening of all things that grew in Valinor; and at each first gathering of fruits Manwë made a high feast for the praising of Eru, when all the peoples of Valinor poured forth their joy in music and song upon Taniquetil.”

Tarnin Austa ( "Gates of Summer" or more literally "Passage into Summer") was a celebration held in the city of Gondolin on the first day of summer each year. It was custom to begin a solemn ceremony at midnight, continuing it until dawn of Tarnin Austa. No one could speak from midnight to daybreak, but upon the rising of the sun the elves would burst into ancient songs, with choirs standing upon the eastern wall. At that time the city was filled with silver lamps, and lights of jeweled colors hung on the branches of the new-leaved trees.

Lindamar presents an evening with elven themed music and poetry for the warmer summer nights to come.

It has been eight years since the launching of first Great Elven Ball. Which started as a one shot, modest and elven centric RP dancing event, aimed to quell hostility and bitterness that was prevalent in the Elven RP back in 2008.

The time has come again; a year has passed and the next one is behind the corner.
