The Passing Of Time

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

To this very day I have never known how many months I spent in the foreign land - even now my mind blurs if I try to reckon it up.  Try as I may I can make it no fewer than twelve, and  no more that twenty four. Nor am I certain how much time will pass before I shall once more be home, where I belong!  Alas, that  time as yet  did not come to pass.

Beneath The Surface

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Dark clouds drifted across the sky above the village, obscuring the stars. A distant bell tolled the midnight message for the slumbering Shire. Fresh drizzle  was falling over the fields, and woodland as a cold Autumn wind blew. Beneath what was once known as Shire Rose's Hall, candles burned bright in their stands. The secret cavern hole reachable only by using a hidden passage in the in the Delving Fields, on the north side of the village of Bramblebury.

The Magic Words

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

How does one write of the making of a poet..? It is not obvious to me, therefore it must be a secret to create such magic with words. Those that have walked that road will know, like the fine words teller I met tonight.

The Tiny Maiden

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

A slice of the new moon stands to the West of this land. I walked slowly upwards, my bare feet treading the winding pathway, noiseless and white as the first star after dusk in the deep blue and purple sky. My hair unbound, wearing  only a black  garment and hooded cloak, I was alone, yet I knew I was watched. I know this path so well, I'd been here before.  Night moved silently behind me, my companion , my friend, my brother.

The Tapestry

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

In the beginning of Summer,  I walked across a bridge, passed a river in the early hours of a misty morning, and I wondered why my fate was taking me there .  This year the spring storms had been unusually frequent and strong ; night and day the rain came for three days.

The Whitestar

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

Over the tides of time and since leaving Edoras, I have been many things : enchantress, lover, master of the lore, mother and castaway. The world is changing, and he who was my lover and owner of my heart lies dead in our lands. For , as I say, I have changed too as the world around me has.  There was a time when I would easily find my way home ...that time has now passed.
