Minyelaire

((OOC: This is my approximate guesstimate at Daerundros' real future; Living amongst the Kinn-lai Elves as one of the first Eldar known to do so. This story will probably be around 3-5 Chapters long. Enjoy!))

Daerundros stared off into the water absent-mindedly, rather unnerved. She did not notice the person in the trees above her much, being far too embossed in her own business to pay attention. The Well of Life, the Hardest Rock on Arda, and the Brighest Light in the World... what were they?

Never did I believe that I would find myself comforted among the devices of the Enemy. But here we are, licking our wounds around a campfire among the Enemy's perch, and yet we quietly restrain our sense of triumph with grim thoughts of the coming trials. It's a sobering exercise. I sit here and write all that I can recall before my own unease and fatigue will lose them to sluggishness. 

"Ride to war, Daerundros! Ride! Fly!"
Stunned and surprised, I gazed around myself to see a figure seated on a chair. A fireplace chimed happily behind her, and the walls were covered in a pleasant green color, like the forest. She stood up from her odd seating position and straightened herself, dusting off a few stray specks of dirt that had gotten into her clothes. The chair slowly turned to Daerundros, and within it, was an odd... something...

((OOC: Minyelaírë writes the most inspiring poems :O This is a little tidbit that describes how similar yet how different minye and daer are, something that corresponds with my "Two Entities" picture ^^))

Twins of Light and Shadow

I ask myself,
whence came you by,
A creature, who changed my course, Elf
You are my twin, my sole ally,
I treasure you greatly, like Elbereth's star.

"Wake up you bloody sleepy Elf!" Edstan's voice ringed painfully in my ears. I cringed and woke from my trace-like sleep, still bothered and disturbed about the dream. Annoyed at the sudden waking, I grabbed a pile of leaves and threw them at Edstan with a quick flick of my wrist. Not initially expecting my reaction, Edstan spluttered as a few leaves hit his face, and we both laughed at the humour.
