My training is progressing further, and the days turn lighter. The trees and flowers are in full blossom, the air I breath has a sweet scent, it makes me feel live and quite content.... In these recent days I have been working a lot on self-discipline. Twice a day I have worked on my Stamina and twice a day I have worked hard with my mental and physical strength.

After some peaceful years in Imladris, I finally have settled down, and feel one with the environment around me. I do sense I am calm and relaxed.
Many tests has been given to me during the years, and many thoughts has darkened my mind. The strange song that has filled my heart and infested my clear thoughts, has been a burden to me for so many years, but now this song has left me, and I feel glad and peaceful..

I am aware of the darkness stirring in the east, but our time has soon come to leave Middle Earth. I feel it deep inside.

Autumn Ball of Vanimar

The geese are departing from the north. From my single window I see the skeins in ragged formation arrow across the evening sky. Behind them the moon is newly risen - this season, this moon ... impossibly far away from this dark place, and what happens in this place, a great house is flooded with light and music.

Under the richly decorated ceilings, within the tree arbors festooned with lanterns, the brightest host is dancing. Maidens in gossamer dresses tip their faces up to radiant lords - shy, coy, merry, proud. The flower of elvendom gathered to celebrate autumn.

Our horses are enjoying the grass in the shadow of trees and Cirdamir sleeps. I would imagine is the first good sleep he allows himself in days. I don’t think I saw him so happy, enthusiastic and restless before, not even in Lorien.  He enjoyed everything, with a smile bright as the sun, from ship maneuvers to countless hours of swimming, the wine that seemed to borrow the smell of the sea, and songs I never heard before, not even at the campfires in Celondim, from travelers seeking the Sea or bringing its tales.

Report one; Arrival of Eldar host.

Suilad, Hir Halbarad.

I apologize in delay before sending the first report. The  Eldar host has arrived at Lin Giliath in good order, though it is certain that the Enemy already knows of their coming. Impressive a sight though their waving banners and loud horn-calls might be; it can have done nothing but alert our enemies to their presence.

Road to war

We have left Imladris behind us, riding mostly in silence and in quite a good order, all the way to the mustering point in Ost Guruth.

This place had changed much over the time, but not as much since my last stay here, when I was riding alone to Imladris on bidding of my old friend Alqualinde. I have never met his sister, which is quite odd, given the time we have known each other, but he always spoke of her, so I felt as if I knew her, if but a little.
