Mithrandir's Song of Lórien 3 - Meduseld

Mithrandir sings a Song of Lórien in the Golden Hall of Meduseld:

In Dwimordene, in Lórien
Seldom have walked the feet of Men,
Few mortal eyes have seen the light
That lies there ever, long and bright.
Galadriel! Galadriel!
Clear is the water of your well;
White is the star in your white hand;
Unmarred, unstained is leaf and land
In Dwimordene, in Lórien
More fair than thoughts of Mortal Men

So it was that, with the fair Princess Éowyn by my side, I departed from the dread Golden Wood with life and sanity intact, a great feat indeed by the accounting of any man.  A little bit later, we came back to the Ranger camp by Loopy Creek, where still those lowly ruffians feasted and partied, revelling about the place and enjoying their loot.

When Eregiel and Calentauriel entered the dining chamber they were told that they should be seated. A footman instructed that they should begin eating as soon as the food was brought, as Lothíriel had some affairs to attend to before she broke her fast.

'Good morning, ladies,' Lothíriel greeted her guests. 'Please let us sit and be comfortable.'

Eregiel and Calentauriel courtsied, then took their customary seats once the princess was seated.

'I was told of yesterday's incident,' Lothíriel said with obvious concern. 'I hope you were not injured.'

Calentaurie turned to Eregiel and asked, 'Nésa, were you injured?"

'No, nésa, I was not injured,' Eregiel replied.
