Éomer

Now I will tell you what happened next.¹

So, me and Princess Éowyn and Mr Elessar and all the Rangers and hobbits had just arrived at Isengard, where the army of Rohan were besieging the wicked White Wizard Aruman,² and found out that the King had been poisoned, which was quite bad.

Conspicuous by their absence from the wedding were Éomer and Éowyn of Rohan. They had business to attend to at Edoras, but Éomer would soon return to accompany Théoden's body on its journey home...

When Eregiel and Calentauriel entered the dining chamber they were told that they should be seated. A footman instructed that they should begin eating as soon as the food was brought, as Lothíriel had some affairs to attend to before she broke her fast. 

Calentauriel sought one who had seen the wreckage of Isengard, and who would be willing to tell her of their experience. Eregiel accompanied her sister to ensure that she was not overly bothersome. Those they found who had seen Isengard in its ruined state were either occupied preparing for their return to Edoras or were taking rest before their departure. At last they found upon Éomer, Third Marshall of the Riddermark and, since the death of Prince Théodred, King Théoden's heir.
