| Outward Appearance | Rohweyna is rather young looking, though quite tall, nearing six feet in height. She is quite slender, and rather delicate looking. Almost like she's been starved most of her life, but not quite. She has long black hair that goes down to her waist, with a single white lock that stubbornly rests on the left side of her face no matter how she wears her hair. On her lower back, she has an inking (tattoo) of a Ravenwolf, the symbol of her family in Rohan. In short it is a dark grey Wolf curled around a black Raven head raised, looking fierce and as if it is snarling at any who dare try to harm his raven. She has a scar on each cheek, each one spanning from her upper cheek bone to the chin. They are evidence that she is not new to the ways of fighting, and evidence that she would not be afraid to fight if the need arose. Her eyes are grey like the iron her brother, a blacksmith, uses in his forge. Frequently, her eyes are cold as ice, looking at those who approach her, almost as if she hated them. To go with her cold eyes, she has a cold demeanor, unless you have gotten to know her. A smile rarely plays on her face (unless she is carrying her baby with her), and she has the stern look on her face nearly every Rohir has. Very rarely would one see Rohweyna in a dress. More than likely she'll wear clothes one might think are more befitting of a man. Tunic and trousers, and high boots. Her favorite outfit to wear is a thick white woolen cloak with black trousers, black boots, and a black tunic. She prefers it sleeveless. |

Background
Rohweyna comes from a small village in the Westfold of Rohan, a village that was destined to remain poor for its entire existence. Nineteeen years ago, during a dark time in her parents lives, she and her twin brother Risce were born. As time passed, the twins were known to be inseparable. They did everything together. Even as babies, if one cried, so did the other.
Rohweyna gained her fighter spirit over time, but the biggest contributor to said spirit started when she was ten years old. She and her brother had been learning their trades from their parents for three years by this point, and were hardpressed for time to spend time together. However their dilemma seemed to be solved with the fact that both had a penchant for mischief. They met three orphan boys, two were brothers and the third alone entirely, and the village knew them to be troublemakers of the worst kind. Rohweyna and Risce joined their little gang, causing the group to go underground as the twins were children of the village's elders. Two years later, Rohweyna realized the ringleader, five years her senior, was a complete idiot (in her mind) and challenged him to a fight knowing full well that if she won, she'd take over leadership. It was the fact that she had been taught by the ring leader himself how to fight and what man's weakness was that allowed her the victory. With her victory, the gang gained quite a significant amount of power and grew steadily. By the time she was sixteen, they had become more 'law-abiding' yet they also served as the village's 'enforcement.'
However, despite her happiness underground was undermined by her unhappiness above ground. Her parents the day she turned twelve decided that she would be the solution to the village's poorness. It started with, 'Rohweyna, we have someone we'd like you to meet.' From then on, she suffered countless attempts to marry her off to someone wealthy, usually from Gondor.
This went on for six years before Rohweyna let herself fall into the trap of Banan, the former leader of her group. He had claimed that he loved her, and that he wished to see her happy, and wanted the arranged marriage attempts to stop for her. Rohweyna fell for his act, and made a great mistake. He left her almost immediately after wooing her, and it is commonly thought it was as revenge for her taking his group. Nine months later, she gave birth to a baby boy. (Despite the protests from Rohweyna, and the fact she now had a child, her first suitor still loved her, and he provided her with a wetnurse for her baby.)
Shortly after Raedan was born, Rohweyna's village was destroyed by 'Wildmen' and Orcs. Those who were able to take up arms did and did their best to defend their village, but the attempt was futile. Those who survived sought refuge in Helm's Deep. Now, the need for Rohweyna to be married off became even more crucial, and the attempts resumed. Rohweyna tolerated two months of this, but then she ran off heading North.
She'll tell you that it was all the arranged marriages that caused her to flee, but in truth it was the eleven months she spent grieving over the loss of Banan, and of those eleven months, two had the added grief of the loss of her village.
