Silacaladhiel is an elf from Imladris. She was born during the early third age around TA 627. She claims to be 2391 years old, give or take a few centuries since she gave up counting. However, she did not participate in the battle of the five armies despite being of majority. She is gifted with the skills of a lore-master. She has shown to be quite close to her animals going so far as to take hits from enemies in order to protect them. Her skill with a stave is impressive as is her skills with magic..

Sila's parents have already left for the shores of Valinor. However, she has only heard the sound of gulls when her parents left. She had only recently passed her majority when they left. Seeing as she had no other family she has yet to decide when to set sail herself. When she does, she too will leave with the other elves. Until that time, her aid is required by The Red Company.

Ever since she joined The Red Company she has befriended quite a few people. She does however seem to have more male friends than female. One of which finds it amusing to try and hit her with rocks, though he always misses. Silacaladhiel has a sibling-like relationship with this young man. She sees the leader and provost as strong individuals who kept the kinship together in its time of need. Most people in the kin call her Sila because only a handful of them can pronouce her name properly. She currently lives in Picklin along with some of the other kin. Out of the entire kin, Lamaenon and Sylrond are considered people dear to her. As are Remnant, Vhrond, Mactire, and Adilyr.
