Luindirith Falathren

In the First Age of this world lived two talented archers, Ithylwen and Duilorfang of Doriath. For many years, they both stood proudly in defense of the Sindar's kingdom. Deeply saddened by the tragic death of king Thingol, Duilorfang exiled himself into the east. Later, as war-torn Beleriand disappeared under the waters of Belegaer, Ithylwen followed what remained of her people to Eregion.

Time passed and a great war erupted between the Free Peoples and the Dark Lord Sauron. The realm of Eregion was lost to evil and Duilorfang went to the refuge of Imladris to help the Elves defend against the forces of Mordor. When Sauron was finally defeated and the Third Age began, Duilorfang moved to Lindon. One day, rumors came that the Enemy had returned, his forces growing and spreading across the lands again.

Duilorfang vowed to protect his people against Sauron's evil once more. He wrote a letter to his old friend Ithylwen, who had gone to Lothlorien after the fall of Eregion. Together, recruiting skilled warriors and healers from many lands, they founded Luindirith Falathren to protect the settlements of the Elves and to watch over the roads leading from Imladris to Lindon.
