| Outward Appearance | Hoberand «Hobby» Farfield is a young adult standing about 3 feet tall, with brown hair and green eyes. He usually wears a simple cotton outfit, sometimes with a heavy scarf to keep from getting cold outside.
Sociable and well-mannered, he gladly joins in conversations with hobbits and dwarves and enjoys playing music for them whenever asked. He tends to be more shy around men and Elves since he never saw many of them in the Shire. |

Background
Hoberand comes from a respectable family of hobbits living and farming in the fields around Michel Delving. He is an accomplished player of both lute and theorbo.
Always proud to assist his family by working on their farm when he is needed, he nevertheless prefers to walk around the Shire and play music at the various inns and parties. He sometimes even travels as far east as Buckland or Bree to share his music with the people there.
