Background
Duilorfang was born and raised in Doriath under the rule of king Elu Thingol . A talented archer, he used his hunting skills to repel the creatures of evil who ventured too close to the kingdom. Devastated by the death of his king at the hands of greedy dwarves, Duilorfang exiled himself beyond the Blue Mountains before the First Age ended.
For many years, he wandered alone and explored lands across Middle-earth. After the fall of Eregion in the Second Age, he helped to protect the refuge of the Elves in Imladris. When the war against Sauron ended and the Third Age began, he headed back west and established himself in Lindon, close to the sea that had submerged his homeland.
Duilorfang has great respect for the Elves and for the race of Men. He knows both races have faced terrible challenges and sorrows in ages past. He tolerates dwarves but is somewhat suspicious of them. He never forgot the tragic story of Thingol's death.
