She didn't expect to be a prisoner.  She thought it would be easy.  She thought it would be simple.  That's what the man who hired her made it sound.  Now she felt the aching pain in her joints and the stinging burn of the cuts across her body while her employer's body floats down the river in bits.  The rope that constrained her didn't help the pain.  They, along with the constricting omen of fear, made it hard for her to suck in deep breaths.

I sit by the fire, I still think on the conflict we escaped in days past, im happy some of the lads have found sanctuary in ale, as have I...
Odd things greet us upon return, I find myself here by the camp fire, writing letters to the families of the fallen, about how they passed good men. Valiant men.

My darling diary! Been a while aint it? I always do this, I go through phases of writing in you loads and then don't go near you for a few months. Its grand! You know you're dear to me and that I would probably go insane without you. I say go insane, I'm pretty close to insanity at the best of times. You would be too if you were in my position to be fair! Or maybe it is just me? Am I actually crazy? Most people seem to think so at any rate. I just nod and smile and then do a little dance and hope it goes away but it does get to you after a while.
