Tahitoa

And so I sing and practice and sing a bit more, often alone , sometime with me brother Tahitoa ...mmh although I am not sure why he is wearing his earmuff in this hot weather.

And so me and my brother Tahitoa did travel to Bywater yesterday afternoon  where the Summer Poetry Competition was to be held. We did arrive early , it was just us , so we spent an hour or so just enjoying the warm sunshine among the flowers on a late afternoon. Tall green grass blowing gently in the summer breeze.

A lovely evening of music and poetry

My pipe and smoking rings,
Old stories, a muffin or three
Dark ale, a song , a dance
It's all I really need
 

making new 'friends' wherever I go...

Bog Flies ! Everywhere...even inside Tuk’s hat ,under the clothes, annoying . The more they were swapped away the more the seemed to come. It felt like they had become also part of the company, following  our little hobbits everywhere. Trying to lose them flies and tripping on slug...what a charming place this was.

Our little company of hobbits meet with Lord Khalis in the Hall of Fire before departing from Rivendell. May the stars watch over you, until next time we meet, elven friends!

Tired and hungry our small company of hobbits finally make their way down the winding and steep path that leads in  the hidden valley of the elves, Rivendell. Here they come to the Last Homely House west of the Mountains where master Elrond Halfelven dwells
