When the day of the battle came, both of the rangers rejoined their companions in their own way. Forngarmo stayed away from the main group, keeping herself to the shadows as she slowly sneaked through the city, while Padrasul joined the main group in their attack by the docks. All seemed to go well on their way as they kept moving through in search of their cauptured ally, Thandanar. He was found later on, in one of the enemy tents. The group managed to free him without the ranger's help. She watched the company get reunited but has never shown herself up.

The darkness and the cold seemed to stay endlessly with the ranger. Once per a while she kept hearing people around or feeling stuff around. She did recognize Thandanar, Belenir and Aelwynna talking near her, but couldn't make out anything out of it. For some reason she did feel that this was not yet the end for her. She had another battle to go through. The wound was her last concern, if not for the events happening in Forochel she would still be up on her feet. She kept fighting it, to keep her live and fulfill her mission and destiny.

While being on my way towards Gondor, I have met my family's friend, Captain Nethillon Thanduil who has been through much with my mother during the war. He advised me against travelling to Gondor and instead coming to my allies' aid before he and his party left the camp. After thinking much of it, I took his advice to my heart and turned around. Yet I had no idea where my allies might be now. I found Nethillon's trail and followed it all the way back to Evendim and then towards the High King's Crossing. That was where I found him and the company again.

It seems that we will be never good enough for others. Everything I hoped for and everyone I had is gone...
Father perished, or so I think since his disappearance.
Mother left for the war and that was the last I heard of her.
Faethuil... he left me to never come back as he said and told me to not look for mother anymore.
I had a high hope that I will have a real aunt but I guess my mother just wanted to make us feel better. Rejection hurts. I do not know how my family does it but I cannot manage what I feel.

I have received my mother's letter from the battlefield. Curses! I should have been there as I promised her. I have failed as her heir. I suspect she is gone forever now and I will never have any chance of telling her so many things we never caught up on. Fornelen can not find out about this. I know that was a bad thing to do but I stole the letter meant to her. She will never forgive me but it is for her own good. As we talked, I told her that she will need to take on my duties in Forochel, as I will now have to depart for Gondor. Whatever happens... it is all my fault.

Faethuil meets his mother, Forngarmo along with Belenir, Thandanar and Aelwynna from Hand of Numenor Order.

Faethuil was watching a small gathering up at the campsite when he had returned to Evendim. He did not recognize any of those present, apart of his mother, who stood out in the crowd regardless of her face not being visible. He would recognize her anywhere. Young ranger has promised her not to disturb in internal matters but he could not stay away when possibly his mother's injury was mentioned.

Story

I was following my mother's trail closely after my own matters were done. Yet I didn't find her. Instead, I found my older brother, Faethuil who claimed that he had seen her before she left Tinnudir with a strange company. Well, strange to me. He was quite satisfied with them somehow. I looked at my brother and told him that we should find mother and get to know that company better before we can be calm, even though our mother was wisest of us. Since the disappearance of our father we kept guarding each other since she returned to the North.

I have left Tinnudir as soon as my tutor allowed it, since I am still a young guardian of these lands. The fellow rangers there already told me that my mother was seen with a gathering, moving towards Ost Forod and that was later confirmed by my brother, Faethuil.

After writing this, the young ranger moved on to catch up with those she wanted to encounter but all she found was her brother talking with a Gondorian Man.

Faethuil sat down as he returned to Tinnudir without any informations regarding his mother. Fornelen seemed even more worried but he just focused on his journal for a moment.
