Owena

Heartbroken Mother

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Ash had been frequently visiting Mrs. Dorabel Baker ever since dear Owena's death. Though she was unable to do so much recently, as the colder weather brought on a larger amount of illness and injury, causing her to be quite busy. She knew Mrs.

Homeward In Sorrow

Lissilana Hastick had been wandering about the Chetwood since she'd caught wind of Owena's whereabouts, and what had gone on in her absence in Bree. She had no companion with her, as she had not the time to lose in preparations. She'd gotten what she could ready, then set off in search of her beloved friend.

Gathering Knowledge

Enough information I have learned now to at last begin my most likely tedious search. The search for this Wolfshead. A criminal with many crimes and sins written on him. Permanently like engravings on stone.

Visiting Friends

Owena’s sweet shop was small, homey, charming, and very, very crowded. She hadn’t expected such a group, but as she stayed around, it didn’t sound like it was an uncommon occurrence. However, the baker handled it well. At least, she dealt with the volume of customers well; she was, however, a tad naïve about some of the types in her shop. One, a drunkard, wandered into the back room and might have gotten into all sorts of mischief if he had not been so docile.

The road finally before us

I've lost count of the months, but it was about half a year ago, late summer or early autumn, when I were first in Bree and starting to think about the trip back to the Mark, and now, at last, we're taking the first steps. Today will be an easy start to the journey, as me and Miss Adri only mean to make the camp-site below Weathertop, by the spring, same as last time.

Waiting and worrying

It's near on two weeks since I thunk as we were about to start on our journey, and I'd made arrangements for Miss Inayat to take care of the stable, but here I am still in Hookworth, up on the stable roof, watching spring-melt drip down the hillsides. There's hardly any snow left even on the highest hills now, and the grass is starting to green up. Was a big rainstorm few days ago with wind blew branches off the trees.

So much has happened since last I wrote you!

Naneth!

I'm sorry it's been so long since my last letter! You may have feared me dead and I truly apologize for that but I've been.. well... finding myself I guess you could say.

I think I spent too much time among the Breelanders and lost my senses! It has helped hone my comedy though! I was so unsure before and getting heckled at the Pony would be enough for me to hide out and not show my face again for months.

The pastry crust is essential to many recipes.  It gets little glory even for its vital role.  It is usually the filling or glaze or toppings that get the admiration for making the pastry scrumptious.  Yet, the crust is what holds the confection together.  The entire thing would fall apart without the foundation.  The simplicity of a pastry crust creates a blank canvas

Dark, tired, lonesome, and hurt-filled days

Staying up until after dawn for the bonfire wasn't easy for me. I'm usually awake before dawn. When I woke up the day after, it was near midday and my head was far from clear. I got the fire started back up and heated up some of the Attereeve's soup, then while I were sitting down to eat it, I saw the letter what had been left on my door the night afore, what I'd clean forgot about.
