And so it was that the herth of the Loth-i-Lonnath bid the Elves of Rivendell and the Bar-en-Vanimar farewell in the Hall of Fire, bringing with them many memories of joy, sorrow, and laughter.

Returning to Harlond

Maedhrathin is sulking somewhat, and not being especially talkative this morning. A crumbled letter lies on the floor next to him. He has been called back to Lindon by his cousin in Harlond, and is trying to get organized for the trip. Family duties requires him to leave the peaceful valley, though he would rather had stayed longer with Ealendil.

Upon the grass knelt I,
beside the rippling water.
Upstream, downstream,
the distance drew mine eye.

Where are they?

The breeze loosed a sigh,
the birds sang a joyous song.
Nature took its normal course,
yet worried still was I.

It has been too long.

Finally, a speck drew nigh,
first one sail to crown the horizon,
then three, then five, then
even was clear the sails' dye.

Ealendil lets her gaze wander the rolling plains before the Redhorn Pass, no movement, no breeze stirring the grasslands, not even a bird of prey hovering in the air… It was the morning the day after she had left Earcalie north of the dry riverbed of Nan Sirannon. Earcalie had continued on her own back to Imladris, and Ealendil had since been following days old tracks from a large party going north.

War in the North - Closure & Change

Still missing, the Mithdirith that traveld to the Ettenmoors many seasons ago leaves the Loth-i-Lonnath in the care of Hiril Lothoniel who has taken the herth on it's rhîw (winter) patrol to Imladris. This leads to an unexpected clue in the search for the missing army.
