Aubery is a bright-eyed, young girl, born and bred in the alleys of Bree. She knows the town like the back of her hand. She was orphaned as a young child after her mother's death of illness rampaging through the Beggar's Alley, and her father left one morning with the promise to be back--he never returned, although she isn't sure if he meant to abandon her or if he came to a tragic end. Either way, she learned well enough how to survive on her own. She cut purses and picked pockets, slept in piles of hay or in strange beds, whatever she needed to remain warm and alive. She never thrived, per se, being particularly susceptible to illnesses as a result of her poor nutrition, and was always incredibly undersized, but she was alive.

She's now found...employment of a sorts with The Cardinal Collective, along with an education she had been sorely lacking in.
