| Outward Appearance | Essam is a healthy looking Bree-landish man. He is in his early twenties although appears to be in his mid thirties due to stress lines and a scar that runs down his eye, uncommon to others of his age. Usually Essam flaunts his wealth by dressing accordingly, always wearing the latest and greatest. Upon speaking to him, an unmistakable aura of confidence can be felt. As though Essam thinks it is impossible for him to fail at anything. Even upon looking at him, one would be able to see that he is intelligent. His perceptive blue eyes often scanning over whoever he passes quickly. |

Background
Essam was brought up by his Uncle Gorward after his father, mother and (possibly) brother were killed. They were killed during a simple robbery in Beggar's Alley, his brother was taken with them but is suspected to be dead after the burnt body of a boy was found a few days later.
During his time with Gorward, he was taught many tricks and tips on staying alive and manipulating others. As well as developing a good understanding of finances, power and leverage. Gorward insisted that Essam be trained with both the pen and the sword. While Essam may have enjoyed the sword more. He was far more deadly with the pen. This would become evident later in life. During this time, Gorward kept him up to date in all his affairs.
Essam vowed after Gorward's death that he would kill all those responsible, mainly Harlyn, who Gorward had grown up with and protected in his younger years.
Currently, he owns a many different stores in and around Bree. His bloodlust seeming to have calmed some.
