Alromir has dark brown hair, kept tucked behind the ears. His facial hair is trimmed short, which contrasts against his pale skin, with dark blue eyes sitting beneath a thin brow. Light creases etch into his stony face, betraying his years and many sleepless nights.
He stands tall at just over six feet, with the strict rigid discipline of a soldier. When speaking his voice has a surprising warmth to it, and is often spoken in the same soft tenor pitch.
While on duty, Alromir most commonly wears a heavy coat of chain mail, a padded shirt, a dark blue cloak, steel breastplate, shoulder guards, shin guards, and gauntlets. His breastplate has a swan upon it, the symbol of Dol Amroth.
Alromir has been known to wield a two-handed sword, but sometimes switches out for a spear and shield, depending on the situation. Alromir wields his weapons with confidence and comfort, obviously well accustomed to their feel in his hands, but he also makes sure to keep his mind open, and isn't afraid to make use of any objects at his disposal.
Alromir has a sense of leadership to most that meet him, and has the calm, calculated words of an expert negotiator. He can be stubborn at times, but most often is willing to listen to the opinion's of others.
In combat, it can be seen that he is rarely the aggressor, often taking a defensive position, and waiting for his opponent to reveal the chink in their armor. On the battlefield, Alromir may be away from the frontline, carefully planning his every move, or perhaps right in the thick of the action with his troops. |

Background
In TA 2981 Alromir was born and raised in the town of Ethring, safely tucked away in the heart of Gondor. He grew up in the years leading to Sauron’s return, with orc raids becoming increasingly common, and the former glory of the land slowly diminishing.
Due to the increasing hostilities, Alromir chose to join the Gondorian army in TA 2999, where he slowly begins to flourish throughout his multiple engagements with orc and corsair raiding parties. He is promoted to the rank of Captain in TA 3008, but the most of the men under his command were killed in an ambush, while he and a few other survivors were barely saved by a party of Rangers operating in the area.
Alromir began to doubt himself after this major failure, and began to lose hope, never able to see how it was possible to regain the former splendor of his proud and glorious country.
He was knighted in Dol Amroth during the spring of 3011 by Prince Imrahil, for his valorous efforts in defending the city from a band of Umbarim corsairs that had been laying siege to it.
As conflicts with the Haradrim and Umbarim corsairs escalated in recent years, Alromir was granted the command of a company of several dozen mounted soldiers. He thinks modestly of the position, but makes full use of the other knights under his command.
Alromir is not the strongest or boldest warrior, but easily makes up for this with his tactical mind and quick wits. He is an excellent leader, though he still has his moments of doubt. He is known by some to be one of the most versatile combatants, both in one-on-one combat, and upon the battle field. He doesn't use pure strength and ferocity to win a fight, but uses every tool at his disposal to gain the most favorable outcome.
