This Week’s RP Situation: There has been much intense debate among the Longbeards of Thorin’s Hall about a very peculiar topic. Old Ormr has recently rediscovered a recipe for preparing cave-claw meat that he used during the Dourhand occupation when food supplies were scarce. He called it “Mountain Meat”. It is not very appetizing, but fills up a hungry Dwarf well enough when there are no other better options available. Ormr insists that it is a recipe of historic significance and so should be preserved as a part of the history of Thorin’s Hall. But other Longbeards say that the recipe should be forgotten as a part of the shameful history of the Dourhands and the ruin they brought to Thorin’s Hall. To help bring a definitive end to the debate, the Longbeards of Thorin’s Hall have requested the next Dwarven Caravan Market to be hosted there. Let the merchants from abroad sample this “Mountain Meat” and so help decide what the Dwarves of Thorin’s Hall should do with it. Free samples shall be offered courtesy of Ormr!
