 | My journey has begun. I left the gates of Lothlórien some three hours past, and now I sail down the Anduin peacefully. My aim is to reach the Wold in a day or two; then cross in secret through Rohan; past Enedwaith and North to Imladris. From my beliefs, Malliel resides there with Nemben; and I wish to see them so much. It has been...many months, since I last did. The water is calm, my journey will be swift; but there is a shadow to the East. Visible are the lands of Emyn Muil, Dagorlad and the Brown Lands. Fangorn, also, is visible in the distance. But the banks are laden with forests; and my vision is quickly being hindered. Onward, the great river flows. I cannot describe my desire to see my family again... |
