The night was calm and dry. We had just departed from the Forsaken Inn after staying the night there. Teremonth is a good youngling, as is his wife. I can almost feel their affection for eachother, and I admire it dearly. I wish I had the same relationship, although it seems that I have a keen eye for Women, and not She-Elves. Perhaps it is time to devote myself to one Elf.
I received a letter just before we departed the Forsaken Inn, there was no name signed, but it was clearly Anarr's handwriting;
"To The Red Rider,
I followed the girl, she seems to be heading north. I think she may be headed to Esteldin to camp with the rangers, or somewhere about there. It will be very difficult for me to perform my dutys with Rangers around every corner. I doubt she will travel further than Esteldin, if she does then she is a fool. It would be like a catching a fly in a web.
I shall keep tracking her whereabouts, I am not sure if she is with other people yet, I think she may be alone"
After reading, I burned the letter in the fireplace nearby. I shall not rest until I have got her. I cannot fail this task I have been given, or my life could be taken. Unless... Unless I use my authority to catch her out, my name is not known within Esteldin or anywhere in the North Downs, but I still bare my "Sergeant of The Guard" badge. I will have to make excuses to my family to turn back and travel north, I shall wait on Anarr's next letter to see what my next move shall be.
