[Day 722]

Day 722

 - Buy more ink

The last two days have been exciting. I walked on water, I was allowed to fish and even caught two, we ate with locals and I was allowed to cook and teach them. It is almost strange how such things can make a person happy and thrilled when they have never done such things and only gotten to watch. I learned well from watching my mother, they enjoyed the food prepared and Haritha was quick to learn how to make our bread.

I learned that maybe the Bree-landers do not eat the eyes and cheek of a fish, they appeared to be hesitant when the pieces were given to them. A delicacy back home but here they acted like it was odd. Ethynn and Haritha took it as a challenge to eat the eyes they were given, it was strangely amusing. I can only wonder if Owena ate it or if it seemed odd to her as well.

I saw Conrob but I noticed him too late, he was already leaving. It was strange to see him alone and I hope that his wife is doing well. I have not seen them or gotten a chance to speak with them since I arrived. Have they stopped coming to the town?
I spoke with a man named
Corrben, a Watchman or at least former. He told me he will soon return north to aid the ongoing war that is there. I will keep him in my prayers.
