Specific cure development
Most customers buy the standard cures and potions for the regular flesh wounds and scratches. Bree is a good selling point, men have a tendency to get themselves hurt every day it seems. Some cases are rather unusual where the standard products will do no good. A man who goes by the name of Brulk is such a case. The poor lad lost his eye, and the eye socket did not heal properly. He showed me the festering wound, it was not a pretty sight. He strikes me as a man that is no stranger to pain but this wound could get a real problem when left untreated. I know exactly which plant could help him, but it is not within my storage. And previous attempts to cultivate it has failed. Yarrow.
Yarrow or also known as the devils nettle grows in dry and sunny places, nowhere near the blue mountains. I am sure it can be found in the desolate lands that lay east of Bree, it would be the perfect place. But there is a problem, rumors of orcs and wargs that dwell there strikes me with worry. Here is the plan.
1. I need to be hiring some protection. Maybe my father Ullfar could accompany me, he is skilled with an ax. Or maybe warmaster Thogen could spare a warrior to keep me from harm.
2. Find the devils nettle.
3. Consult with the menders and healers in the halls of Thorin.
4. Develop the cure.
Estimated costs - guard hiring 20 silvers. Consult costs 3 silvers. Cure development and materials 10 silvers. Risk and danger costs 10 silvers.
Rounded up would be 50 silvers for the man.
Ser Brulk payed me 10 silvers in advance.
