Recent times have been busy but kind, where to begin?
First and foremost the Nethvaed have received their blues and a proud and happy day it was for all of the Flower, Ephendir, Feawing, Pengien and Hwethlenn were received into the order gladly. It was with a good deal of pride I witnessed Hwethlenn finally pass out, for perhaps most of all it was hardest for her.
At the beginning of the year, contact was made a new with the Dwarrow folk from Thorin’s Hall, Asudrom representing Durins Folk has become a good friend to many in Flower and thus has paved the way to the renewing of an Alliance of old. There is still much work to be done, but trade has restarted, joint strikes have taken place and the Eldar and Dwarrow of Ered Luin now consider one another friends.
Then there is my Lady, Hallothel I do not see her as much as I would like, but we have both been busy with our duties, but when time has been found we make the most of it. I found time to gift her something I found fitting for an Elleth so precious to me, a rare orchid that shares her beauty. We will likely continue to struggle to find time to ourselves with all that must be done, but we share the knowledge of each others affection and deep bond and for now that is enough till fate see’s fit to give us more time.
What of the future?
Alas I cannot say, now that the Flower is growing in strength and the Alliance rekindled there is a great deal of hope in these lands and we will all stand shoulder to shoulder to face whatever may come.
