Letter to Angamaytë - Draft

By the light of …. Etc.

My dear friend, I am most happy at writing to you for many reasons.  Business goes constantly progressing but the details you could read in the report addressed to the council. This letter is more of a personal matter.

First let me start by thanking you for the assistant you sent, she told me you picked her personally, that makes easiest to trust her in delicate matters.  She also seems able, and attractive as she is surely will prove useful; though at first hand I had doubts with she being (xxxxx) a witch, people around here seems to have a ridiculous fear of seers, that might come handy in the future.

Second and more pleasant (at least for you), I am sending you a kingly gift with this shipment. You surely must be  curious about this girl with white hair and crystalline blue eyes, slender and beautiful. You don't know two facts about her: first one, she is of Adûnaim heritage, her blood scarcely mixed and unbelievably pure, and as far as Our knowledge… unspoiled,  a true diamond between stones.   Second, I am sending her to you to be your wife, if that pleases you of course. You won't find a greater prize in the city, such a woman at your side will surely improve your standing between the families and the council, not only by his blood and heritage but for her character and fiery will. I warn you my friend, that beauty has claws sharper than a sand prowler, she knows how to wield a weapon and is skilled with bows, do not trust her gentle manners… she is cunning, the long voyage surely must have settled her a little but I don't believe her to be so easy to tame, a long and hard road is set before you but a true queen waits for you at the end, I know you won't be deterred for such a "diversion" … you surely will enjoy it as much as I would.  I recommend you to bear her with child as soon as possible, she would become  easier to handle and the child will settle her temper.  Her blood will guarantee primacy for your offspring.

I will tell you now a thing or two about how your future wife came to my "care". She is apparently an orphan, her father some remnant  Adûnaim from ancient Arnor surely, she claims he taught her many stories of lore, the fact is she is wise beyond her short years.

I first found her wandering the lands around the town of Bree (I have told you about the place before), at first I was amazed but being as busy as I am, did not give further attention to the matter. Later the girl managed herself to become a nuisance to myself and some of the shadier characters of this land (she has some obsession with "helping and protecting" the unfortunates)  so the time became ripe for "harvest" her. How it was done is an entertaining story, I had so much fun weaving the plot for her capture. It started with …
