The Book of the Twelve - Page 6 - The Rose and the Cactus

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The falling of the leaves in the period before winter, is caused by the goddess Tivry. Her, being the goddess of beauty, love, life and healing, takes a special interest in the trees and flowers. Each and every leaf, flower and stem from a plant is hand-made by Tivry, with her special love and attention. And when they fall, she believes they have lived their lives as best they may, and now will satisfy her own interests in making the next bloom of plants more beautiful than the last.

A Letter To My Brother: of friendship and peril

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

Hookworth, Bree-Land, 24th June

Dear Ravondir

This is of course no letter, and you will not read it. But I find that if I set pen to paper as though to write a diary then no words come; if I think that I am speaking to you, then all pours forth upon the page. I wish that I could unburden myself to you, as I always used in the past; but I know that you would despise me for the things I have done. This letter will not be sent, but will sit in my chest beside the others that I have written to you.
