The giant cake for the 10th Annual Grand Elven Ball is filled with the jam of apple, cinnamon and Mallorn honey and the rich creme of vánillë. It also has a soft meringue icing and it's topped with the symbols of Vanimar. It is shaped like a braided nest on which a meringue swan sculpture has been posed. The bird is looking at another cookie, shaped like the Tengwar number ten.

As the evening began, Lord Anglachelm prepared to recieve the guests as the order of the Arrow had done their duty by showing them the way to the hall. Poetry

First you get a big round bowl
Making sure it has no holes
Fill it with a pound of flour
And shake it round a bit

Add in lots of sugar too
Pinch of salt will also do
Add too much, it will go sour
So, just a little nip

Mix in table spoons of spice
Makes it taste so extra nice
Cinnamon and nutmeg too
Be sure to add the best

Drop a lump of butter in
Really, really mix it in
It will make a sticky goo
A really lovely mess!
