"You wish them restored?" Estarfin asks, as he and Danel examine the weapons she has placed in his hall. 

The two Noldor struggle to deal with what happened the previous day, that she brought a woman to their home, knowing how Estarfin would react; that he accused her of trying to test him, make a fool of him. 

"Why did you do it?" he asked. "I want to understand."

"I do not know, Estarfin." she answers truthfully. "Please, do not leave."

I still remember the day, that day when you did not return to the homefire. Wicked magic it must have been, which made that bear so strong, for you were the best hunter and warrior we knew.
