Bog Flies ! Everywhere...even inside Tuk’s hat ,under the clothes, annoying . The more they were swapped away the more the seemed to come. It felt like they had become also part of the company, following  our little hobbits everywhere. Trying to lose them flies and tripping on slug...what a charming place this was.

Tired and hungry our small company of hobbits finally make their way down the winding and steep path that leads in  the hidden valley of the elves, Rivendell. Here they come to the Last Homely House west of the Mountains where master Elrond Halfelven dwells

Hidden somewhere ahead of them, is the beautiful valley of the elves where Master Elrond lives in the Last Homely House west of the Mountains...

Far far away from  home, sitting by a small fire at night in the High Moors, a small company of hobbits sing songs from the Shire. In the distance the snowy peaks of the Lonely Mountains rising above the hidden valley of the elves, Rivendell.

Our little company of hobbits  cross The Ford of Bruinen at night. Weary and hungry they camp for a few hours before taking the road to Rivendell once more...and no Tuk, you cannot take Billy The Badger  back to the Shire
