The merry fellowship of dwarves and men finally met this journey's end in the deep halls of Erebor, and after a wondrous tour over many a stair and stone, a feast awaited for the long-legged guests in the Hall Under the Mountain.

Much drink and cheer were shared as new and old friendships blossomed and prospered, and the clash of so distant cultures led to many a heartfelt laugh and woken interest between the different folks.

Leaving the town of Dale behind, there is but a short ride through the last patch of wilderness before reaching Erebor, and the far-away mountain only seems to grow taller and taller with each step they take towards it...

Dwarves from all corners of Middle-Earth gather for the Erebor Highland Games. Members of the Blue Mountains Regiment take their seat at the table laden with meat of questionable origin and begin the first but unofficial challenge of the night: Downing as much as they can before their hosts finish explaining the rules of the game.

The companions from Bancross are getting closer to their destination as they enter Dale. From a small party at the journeys start, they have grown into a large caravan with many dwarrows escorting them.

The merry fellowship of dwarves and men journey ever on towards Dale and Erebor, with the hopes and promises of riches and fortune for their people growing ever closer in their hearts. In Lake-town they are accompanied by a curious holbytla, who follows the company to Dale.

Story

Two tall obelisks stood together in silent vigil before the crowd of Dwarves that were gathered before them. The crowd consisted mostly of Dwarves of the mercantile persuasion, but there were still some warriors among them. These two obelisks have been erected at great cost, and now they were finally complete. Engraved at the base of one of these obelisks was the name “Grehna”, and at the other was the name “Jorunga”.
