Letter To Ethuilon II

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Ethuilon,

Of course you've bloody left Rivendell. Trust a Mirkwood elf never to stay in the same place for long. I always wondered how your folk could stand all that moving around. I reckon it's a bit like your Noldor cousins feeling the call to the West, except for you lot it's more like "the call to be an incorrigible pain in the arse at every possible opportunity".

Yet the Bagpipes carry on.

Erebor stood tall, Erebor weathered the storm.

We drove the bastards back and cut down many as they trampled each other in their panicked rout; I knew the Dalemen were worth their weight in Mithril, but seeing their cavalry run those demons down after all they had put us through...Words cannot describe the brotherhood that formed between us beards and these manlings, they are the closest friends I will ever have outside of my kindred.

First Inn-pressions

"Probably ought to have made a different choice in clothing," was the thought going through Reidun's mind as she stepped in to the common room of the Prancing Pony Inn.
It was not that she had never been in a place such as this before and was unaccustomed to the smell of vomit and sweat permeating every thing in the room. (Oh, the very air did seem to be full of the stench.) No, she was very accustomed to it and hardly noticed.

Why had she thought the journey would go more smoothly? Had she jinxed them by thinking such thoughts before? Dru had truly believed their little group was getting along much better. Yet somehow, one time she was not in Ost Guruth for a little while, it all fell farther than it had been before it looked better.

The Precipice of Significant Change

Whenever Zurri's mind turned to his company of dwarves, both fear and guilt would root him to the spot. He dared not face them again, and spent numerous weeks in Bree-land tarrying, delaying the date that he would confront them. The dwarf presumed that his remaining companions still awaited him in the Chetwood, as Balthnar did say they would, but he could not be certain. For Zurri sensed their loyalty to him had waned when last they were together.

Yuletide has turned out merry

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

I reckoned that Yuletide would be busy and merry and full of too much to keep up with, but it's actually been more quiet than any other time of year, so much it's been lonesome some times, and foul at others. But in the end it's come out merry after all, more merry'n I could ever have hoped for!

Drumatic Reunion

Stitches. He was back in Bree-land, while Dru was on her way to Gondor. It was as if fate was ever telling them to stay apart. As if some force continued to separate them from each other. She had given her word, and even his return could not bring her to break it.

What Did You Dru (Part 2)

After standing there for a second or two more, she simply walked past the two without a word. She had not the wherewithal to address the situation yet.
She quietly asked Barliman for a bucket in which to put the glass shards from her shattered wineglass.
