bounty hunt

His heart was pounding, and his palms were sweaty. The hall was filled with people awaiting the trial of Deorla. A mix of people from honest townsfolk, to the merchants that held grievance with the defendant, to the strange, hooded figures that he could only assume were the rangers. The atmosphere was electric, and Furley did not feel at ease whatsoever. 

"You'd better eat it, it's all you're going to get!!" 

The captured woman cries in the corner, her hands covering her face. She seems inconsolable... repentant for her crimes, even. Truth is, she's scared, she's nervous, and she's dreading her trial. 

"She was last spotted in the North Downs! Heading north from Trestlebridge! Bring her to me alive, and you'll earn your bounty". 

Furley addresses the crowd in front of him; a would-be chancer of a hobbit and his elven friend, another elf, and more than a few men who actually look prepared for the task ahead, donned in fine armour and stacked to the 9's with weapons. He gives them their heading, and they set off.
