Dru's Diary

I know not what to say right at this moment. Am I safe? Not likely. But I feel safe, which is new to me. How do I live? Ought I remain here? Hiding in my room? Master Demlemoth has been so very kind...but how long is it until I overstay my welcome?

I have little time to write, but my thoughts must come out of my head before it explodes. I cannot tell Ynna, nor Teregan or they would become fearful.  I have found that, recently, Kristopher (if that is truly his name) has left Bree. I cannot seem to find where he has gone, but I can guess. How could I have been so foolish as to begin to try to trust a fellow Gondorian?! I will need to lay low for awhile and be more wary of my accent.

I have returned to Bree, bringing Ynna back as well. She wishes to return to Rohan as quickly as possible-taking me along for the journey-but I cannot leave Bree for some time, as I am something of a mother now. The name of the lad I care for, is Teregan, and he cannot be more than six years of age. His father was taken far away  from him, to fight in the war against darkness, yet his son was left in Bree, to fend darkness off on his own.
