Gaeded

Athlenah wanted to check out what seemed to be a ruin from the days that the Maerc was Calenardhon. However, as she blindly walked towards it, several arrows flew towards her. The ruin was inhabited by a large group of brigands, who were too many for the company to fight, so they had to flee. They got back on the road with minimal injuries and back to safety.

The Black Steel stopped off at a trading post in the Norcrofts for a night. Much merriment was had with the traders as they sat around the fire, drunk mead and told tales.

The Black Steel gained horses as reward for getting the supplies back. Gaeded's was the one that always rode into battle first, the Reeve said, before it's previous master died. She rode around the training track with the horse, trying to think of a name for him.

The Black Steel found the stolen goods, but as they approached, they were ambushed by the Easterlings. However, the Easterlings went down easy, too easy. That is when they discovered that these were slaves, trying to return home after their master had been killed in the war, and they were only trying to scare the company off so they could get away.

Athlenah found tracks of horses and got rather overexcited, running off ahead of the group, who followed after where she ran, wondering what had overcome the woman.

The Easterling camp of which The Black Steel believed the stolen goods to be in was empty. The only thing Athlenah was some very soured milk, which made the Bree-lander vomit from the rank smell. They continued on to try to find signs of where the Easterlings may be.

Gaeded spends her evenings sitting by the fire, Grim curled up by her feet.

Grim was well trained when Gaeded acquired him, but still everyday she trains him to learn more. Much like that she trains herself everyday.
