Amanda rode along the cobble stone road, she saw a flame in the distance and urged the horse closer, dismounting the horse as she got to it, she sat near the fire without a word..

"You there! What are you doing here?" a voice came sounding from the dark

Ow, ow, ow! Would be nice sooner or later that I would stop burning either my food or my hands for once so that I could write more frequent without needing to write as much as I did last time. Might as well do  it either way since apparently, I've no choice.

Hell, I was so busy with stuff that I didn't get the chance to catch up on my journal. Things had been...more or less hell to say the least. I suppose I'll write a few things about them though keeping some things to myself in fear of this journal, as unlikely as it could be of someone were to find it, would actually be looked at.

There was little sleep to be had. The overnight guards' voices, the shuffling of boots passing her cell, the occasional lecherous whisper of the other prisoners, all served to deny her any slumber.
