Entry for 16 May

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

We said farewell to our kinsmen last night with the lighting of pyres in the center of the village near the mead-hall. I knew some of the fallen by name and face, but not intimately. I feel selfish for being thankful for this. Others are heartbroken. And while I have had my share of being broken with grief, I still can't muster a good reason why I should not suffer as they do.

Foolish thoughts, I know.

A Mellow Waning

Story

She had never been a particularly brooding or isolated soul.

Words and smiles and politeness had flowed so effortlessly in her youth. She went where she was told to go. Spoke affably and easily to whoever she encountered. And smiled without having to muster any measure of will to curve her lips upward into a convincing expression.

Farewells

Story

Dryn stepped into the Prancing Pony inn and looked around with his light green eyes, though his eyes seemed troubled. Upon returning to town, he had heard rumors about one who had been a father figure to him. He did not want to believe it.

Happy Holidays!

Past week's reflection

Story

Aeruthuil sat down in front of the fire, the ground soggy. As he glances over towards one of the men tending to another he sighs before muttering to himself, ''At least Brandant returned, fairly in one piece. Physically at least..'' Something which was surprising to him, after all not many had returned from the Moors.

Catching Up

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

Hell, I was so busy with stuff that I didn't get the chance to catch up on my journal. Things had been...more or less hell to say the least. I suppose I'll write a few things about them though keeping some things to myself in fear of this journal, as unlikely as it could be of someone were to find it, would actually be looked at.

Like Old Times

Diary

I meant to write this recently but I have forgotten to. Anyways, despite of a certain person, a few days ago, I had met up with Bryn and Conrob again while I was speaking to Steven! How long had I seen them last? Well... Formally without having  something happening like what happened to Aallan the other day at the Boar Fountain. It definitely had been way too long. It was definitely a relief to see their faces again.

Blessings and Problems

Diary

Where, oh, where would I begin with this journal? Hell, it's been such a long time since I have written in it at all! Things both bad and good had been happening and it had been all in some sort of blur more or less.

Return to Bree-Land

Story

It had been weeks and one dead half orc since Aallan last saw Dufr in the Lone Lands.

People and Places 1 "The New and the Old"

Brynleigh and Conrob: I'll just write these two together as you almost never see them apart. The newly wed couple are as happy as ever it would seem, not much else to say about this couple. Currently on a trip with Baldmar.

Sareva: An enterprising and kind hearted tailor with a keen interest in seeing all of her potential customers safe. She is more aware of the troubles of the world then any other local I have talked to and seemed to empathize with my plight and as such I enjoy talking to her. Perhaps a little too clever for her own good.
