Downfall in Chetwood

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The town of Bree was covered in the starry blankets of night, with the moon’s crescent shining above the town.  The man who’d live upon it would refuse to come down for his fill of ale, as numerous guards marched through the streets.  These guards were not of the regular watch, but of Richard’s own men, sent from the south into the once sleepy town.  At least ten at a time would patrol each section of Bree,

Disclaimer:  This does not have anything to do with the Town Watch kinships or their members.  The guards or so called watchers Richard may have under his command are in no way endorsed or even included in the regular ranks of the Watch kinships.

"He did what!?!"  Richard burst out as he slammed his fist on the table.

Musings from Richard about Bree

Today is like any other day in town.  So many crimes to halt, so little time.  From a vagrant who was unlawfully squatting at a rock outside of town, to an old dwarf attacking me unprovoked.  Though the crimes in this town have decreased in the past weeks, partially thanks to my machinations, it will only be so long before lawlessness returns.  Though the crimes are different, the song's so damn similar.  "I know my rights; You don't have the authority; The watch will hear of this; You filthy foreigner."  It goes on and on.

An arrest Richard oversaw.

((Disclaimer: There is no connection between the guards used in this story and the watch proper.  The events seen here are not connected to any of the established watch kins.  The only reason I use Guards 1,2,3 etc. is for naming purposes and nothing else))

In the early morning, a sleepy town's citizens faced the dawn of another day.  Richard was no exception, as he woke up to have his breakfast and the routine of putting his armor on.  Out the door he went, and to the jail house he'd go.

((OOC: Once again, I'll be using a tad bit of lyrics of how Dryn feels about Richard and the events))

No matter how much I try to think that everything's okay, something ends up happening that makes me to where it makes me sick in many ways.

Sir Richard,

Entry for 15 May

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

I saw Tothrandir in the market a few days ago. I think he must have seen me and crept up behind me, for I suddenly heard his voice, turned around, and was face to face with him. It's strange, the sight of him sends me immediately back to my early days in Bree, when I was just a lonely, unsure girl who was unbearably smitten with this tall, dark stranger with the gentlest grey eyes I'd ever seen. In a way, I dislike the effect he has on me.

Writings behind bars

It's been a while since I wrote, hasn't it?  Lucky for me the guards didn't take my parchment and pen.  Why I put myself behind bars is a rather funny story.

Complete Shock

Things had gotten to quite a surprise. I was pretty much speechless through the time of being in Bree.

I’m finding it difficult to put my thoughts to paper today.

It would take a novel to recount the events in their entirety. I will not try to.
