Dru cried out in pain, curling into a ball around herself. Her body was drenched in sweat which in turn caused her tunic and the one blanket she hadn't kicked off, to cling to her uncomfortably.

She tried to take slow, deep breaths, but couldn't control her hyperventilation.

"Why have I not left this place yet? Why did I promise Ash I would aid her friend?" Dru asked herself these questions aloud, covering her face with her hands for a moment. Her wrists, being as weak as they were, made putting any form of pressure on anything, quite near impossible.

The cupboards and shelves were nearly empty once again...the same condition as Matt's pockets.

She had nearly gone through the money Papa had set aside before his death, though she'd been careful. It had been years since their deaths, and Matt had only come into contact with other beings when she needed to buy food, or other such things.
