Act III, Part VII: A Meeting at Twilight

Tinnurion was as if one turned to solemn stone. For a brief moment he pondered if the shape was the Willow's doing, but the thought betrayed him as the shape moved closer to the water's edge. In that moment Tinnurion stood up swiftly with sword raised and said:

April 10th 3019:

 Thirenel sat long at the desk he had been provided during his recovery in Minas Tirith, reading the missives of his long-wandering friend... He read over and over the words, hoping to commit them to memory.

Dear Thirenel,

I bring you good tidings friend. When last I wrote to you after the battle under the trees of Mirkwood, I suspected that Thranduil and Celeborn would divide up the forest now that the fires of Dol Guldur are utterly quenched. It seems that they have indeed done so. The forest is now called Eryn Lasgalen and Thranduil has agreed to take on the rule of the northern part of the forest whilst the southern part henceforth belongs to Lorien.

Thirenel,

It is with glad tidings that I receive news from the south, from my dear friend, mournful as it may be. I am sorry to hear that you were wounded in battle and that you have found reason to leave your home behind.

Revio and I were married last night... Oh, it was amazing, I never thought I would see the day it actually happened. After a slight scare from Malinda--I know, I'm greatly understating how much of a scare it was, but that's for my own good--and holding off on so many other things, I feel like my happiness is complete now... More than complete.

I don't think I'll ever forget how Revio held me in his arms, how deep the meaning of each of his words in his vows were... the way he looked at me... It was amazing... simply amazing...
