''Rohirrim''

A story as told by Emmawynn to a friend on the road.
 

"There was once a little girl who lived in a tree.  While she was in the tree bad things did not happen to her.  If she left the tree, when she came back she could find comfort and stillness, a way through the bad things that happened outside."

The sound of the gentle breeze swished in her ears, blowing wisps of her long blond hair around her face as she stood gazing out over the pastures.  On this, her last evening at home she drank it all in, memorizing every sound, the vision of the horses, the grasses swaying in the wind, and the pinks in the horizon that blended into purples and then blues as the sun threatened to disappear.  Her hand idly reached for the bow strapped to her back.
