Born late in the second age to Tatharwen of Lindon and Menelril of Gil-Galad's people, the young Mírsilmë lost her father during the siege of Barad-Dur. Grieving, her mother sent her to be with the remnants of the Noldor at Imladris whilst she took the white ship west. However, after long years Miírsilmë grew restless for the sea and the music of her mother's kin and returned to Lindon, where she longs for her family over the Great Sea. Yet her time in Middle Earth is not over, as she collects songs and poems which have power beyond most mortal understanding.
