Summer brings a beauty to the meadows like no other. The fields grow tall, and the sun soars into the sky, to climb and claim its highest throne. The Entwood seems to slumber more deeply, and even the mist that tumbles down from the mountains carries a warmth as it crosses the hills.
The hope for a bountiful harvest spreads a contagious joy among those who labour hard for such rewards. Travellers journey from afar with the promise of fair weather on a long road, and are met as ever with the wary hospitality of the Rohirrim.
Whether you come from distant lands, or the mill just up the hill, the Inn of Apuldram will open its doors to you. And whatever fare you are accustomed to, whatever company you prefer, its hearty, honest offerings should bring you some comfort after a day under the sun.
All are welcome to the inn for the midsummer evening, and will find good drink within, and special seasonal fare which has earned the inn much praise. You are also welcome to enjoy the night air at the bonfire just outside.
