Log 2: Entry 12

The worst of the stomach problems have passed, fever is gone, but the rash remains an issue. I've used up my supplies and have no choice but to go back to town.
No one else seems to have caught the disease, but I'll ask these three to remain in this room for at least another week, to be safe.

The disease that caused the stomach problems and fever might not be related to the rash. After examining the children, I've realized that they are suffering from Scabies. It's possible that the other three may have the same thing, but gotten an illness on top of it all.
I'll have to stop by the Soothery and pick up the Clove oil. While expensive it seems the mothers prefer to pay for the treatment than watch their children scratch the skin off for the coming three weeks or so.
I'll have to ask around town if there are any merchants from the east that come this way. I could use some more ingredients from there.

    * Visit the tailor
    * Ask about eastern merchants
    * Look for a herbalist / exotic herbalist
    * Stop by the Soothery, clove oil
    * Cut and trim hair/beard
    * Remember miss Winkle's birthday
    * Bring a rose? Bottle of wine?
    * Look for a new lens for the microscope
    * Take skin samples
